IF YOU DECIDE TO JOIN THE MILITARY:
Upon completion of three years of the JROTC program, if you decide to enlist in the military, you will enter at an advanced paygrade (E-3 for Army, Navy, Air Force and E-2 for Marines). This allows you to make roughly $3,000 more dollars in your first year of service.
Upon completion of three years of the NJROTC program, the SNSI may provide a student with a nomination to the United States Naval Academy.
The SNSI may provide assistance, information, and letters of recommendation to Service Academies.
Participation in JROTC will help increase your chances of getting an ROTC scholarship.
IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO JOIN THE MILITARY:
Provides you with leadership experience that will help you when applying for college.
Development of responsiblity, discipline, and respect.
Able to participate in numerous Community Service activities that will help add to your college application resumes.
